Day 27 Sat July 3 Preparation for T-S-W

Patti's up early with the water sprinklers going before sunrise. I can hear the bass fisherman as their voices carry with the wind while everyone else is still sleeping.

I start coffee and lay back down until the sun peaks out for pictures at the nearby bridge.Last night the sign on the bridge was lit up in a neon type lightning of blue.

Our day starts of course with showers and breakfast, however, we walk to a breakfast diner toting all of the materials Sandy gave us the night before.

We familiarize ourselves with the material enough to later ask others for advice and pick the knowledgeable brain of our hosts Sandy and Craig.

LCBO, Grocery, Paying our Waterway/Lock Fees, and getting a fishing licence took up most of the day and by now it looks like a gathering is starting for Happy Hour.

Slowly people arrive with their choice of beverage and we all share stories and experiences.

We get to know a few of the persons we will likely see throughout the Trent-Severn exploration.
Ron gets the dinner hour started by firing up the grill which gets everyone talking about their own dinner choices. I have already prepped vegetables that I picked up this morning at The Farmers Market. We'll enjoy them with some small steaks.mmmmmmm good.

Sandy caps off Ron's night with a bowl of Praline Ice Cream. (For his assistance with boats at the docks). I had a flash of a picture in our future with Ron holding it....."will work for ice cream".
