Family Friendly, Trendy and "Menace"

We've discovered a wide range of things to do without leaving on the bicycles or hopping in the dinghy. First off, the shopping is fantastic and you can smell home-made fudge for what seems to be miles. Trendy clothing, art, souvenirs and even groceries are all within a three block area.

Here are three of the seven varieties of sunflowers Gina grows.

Galleries surround...and one in particular is now offering SignetureLine Jewelry by Signe Lawson! Kathy at Round Lake Gallery on the main drag of Charlivoix is dedicating a whole glass display case and has asked for her to incorporate Petoskey Stones in a few pieces.. The store has all different mediums of wonderful art...check them out at roundlakegallery.com

Although it is a bit noisy, the screams are of joy from the many kids playing in the musical fountains by the marina office. This goes on all day and into the night.

boys......
Thursday is a big day here...starting with Farmer's Market in the morning, street musicians during the day and a free concert that we could enjoy right off Wild Goose II at the marina park. And, to top off this particular Thursday...a tall ship came in to the end of A Dock!

And what put us right over the top? Mike and Jennifer Dye of the infamous Menace Crew are found anchored in the harbor...too much fun.

This harbor is obviously very busy and waiting lists are common for getting a dock. We found that the best way is to reserve online.
