We arrive by noon and agree that the ride was way to short. It's an awesome day to be boating and we only had 11.2 NM to travel.
This my day for hair care.
All goes well at the salon where I am relaxing, reading a book, getting some alone time, and trying to rid myself of the grey roots growing in. After my shampoo, I am walked over to a chair so that it can be blown dry and styled and I thought I would have a heart attack. A screaming bleach blond looks back at me from the mirror. Thank God hair grows back as I want Ron to shave it off. But, we let it go for now.
Knowing that a party awaits us, Ron has cleaned the upper deck and set it up for the proper people watching and visiting that will take place. Just about that same time, John and Sarah pull into the dock in front of us with Jackie and Andy aboard (their kids). The party has begun.
John serves us leftover pizza for dinner so we do not need to make a mess in the galley and we catch up for awhile over beers. Soon there is dancing on the docks.
Loud music from the boat docked across from us (John and Sarah) and lively conversation well into the evening. Patti goes to bed early after another attempt at taking photo's of the moon., while Ron hangs out.
The Big Day.
Well. looks like the docks are filling up with dancing girls by mid day. Partying here is summed up with a bottle of water or cup of Joe first thing. Sit on the dock with some kind of vodka breakfast. Grill burgers and dogs with beers for lunch and beverage of choice with jello shots prepares the groups to head to the concert. Whew!

As the day progresses and we walk around, we wonder what we were thinking when we decided to come out of our tranquil life into a wild, crowded party. We moved back to the boat and never ventured back out. The party looked great, and even greater from a distance for the two of us. Lot's of eye candy for both boys and girls:) :)
We were joined off and on by The Schebil Clan between texting, eating, and checking in on the concert over the hill. Ron and I each tried a wimpy burger which is a " must" do when in Lexington. Although very tasty, we both had only one to save ourselves from the day-after issues of "sliders". Spaghetti was whipped up instead for the crew of Wild Goose II. Jimmy Buffett music flowed through the speakers and we stayed happily on board.
Woke up to a pretty quite marina on Sunday with a lot of sleepy heads, and our own heads needing a pump out The Captain and I took a quick ride to servicing area and took care of it before people in the marina were stirring from their boats.
Good-Byes to The Schebil's, who are headed back to Port Huron and the beach. Ron and I head out in the dinghy to cool off at the beach around the outside of the marina. We enjoy a very relaxing day wading in the cool water and top it of with a cookout and more movies. Great weekend with brother #1.
